yes, i see what you mean. though i very often find asymmetry more attractive, both visually and as a tool of mind. "the ying yang" figure is a construct. detail from a playground, a circle with a bar i the middle. i guess the circle was of minimal interest right from the start , since i cropped the circle in two when i shot the motive (13.09.12 17:25, when returning home after the art game session )
and i certainly agree when it comes to asymmetry. often i try to add a little "disturbing" detail in an otherwiese symmetric composition
