Richard, what a kind comment! Sometimes "the eye" see before shooting, more often though, "the eye" kicks in as an after thought when I have the capture on the computer. This one is actually from the first, more rare category.And so glad I am that you seems to like the images from our marathon shooting. What a day it was! I'm really glad and grateful for the meeting. A yearly shooting with Ulrich sounds like a good idea, indeed - and I should gladly make it twice. Not so sure he would accept that, though ;):shrug:

But Richard, I heard that you and your wife are traveling to Europe later this spring, and also will make a meeting with Ulrich! That's wonderful. I was really glad to learn about this plans. All my best for the Europe visit, of course. But I guess we can talk more about that before you travel. :hug:

Yes! It's my older son and me rather than my wife and me. I have friends (Canadians) who are living in Geneva for the next few years, and when I arranged the visit with them I immediately thought of how close to Ulrich I would be - relatively speaking of course! I am really looking forward to it. Thanks! And yes, I'll be around for another few weeks, departure date is May 16. Big :hug:, Hanne!

Yes, my wife decided she had had enough of flying a few years ago - as Ulrich has too in fact - leaving me to be the traveler if it must be done by air. Nicholas loves to fly and also knows some French for when we are out and about without my friends :)

Thanks, I will! Cold and raining over here at the moment too. We had a very warm March but the weather has reverted to normal.
